The HOME of the Unpopped Colonels Podcast…just two old Army buddies talking about whatever crosses our minds…sometimes grumpy, sometimes happy, but usually somewhere in between…we're not here to offer solutions…we just want to leave our listeners thinking for themselves…

The Unpopped Colonels Podcast Dictionary
…think of it as a podcast episode companion.
The Colonels don’t just talk…they write too!

To tell you the truth – we weren’t real sure what direction this podcast would take off. We often talked, not just the “hey, how ya doin’ variety, but rather things in everyday life that guys just simply keep to themselves or just never venture into thought. At some point in time, one of us said “podcast” and the other said “that’s a good idea” and here we are.
We knew what we did not want to talk about on a podcast episode (politics and religion), but we had no idea what we did want to talk about. So, we started brainstorming, coming up with over 100 topics we were not only interested, but also at least minimally familiar. From there, we started grouping topics into similar categories, ultimately coming up with five general categories of content.
We hope you enjoy our discussions – we certainly have a great time curttng them. Please give us some feedback either on your podcast hosting service or send us an e-mail.
